Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Show. 12-13 Feb 2014 Farnborough

The Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Show returns to FIVE, Farnborough on February 12th and 13th 2014.  This Industrial Technology Showcase is free to enter, free to park, and there is a comprehensive and free seminar programme.

A record eight hundred exhibitors are expected for the 2014 Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Show taking at the FIVE event location in Farnborough on 12 and 13 February 2014. FIVE is conveniently sited near to the M3 in Hampshire and well-served by public transport.

As UK manufacturing comes to be defined less by the scale of its undertakings, and more by its unrivalled reputation for innovation and design, maintaining a steady flow of fresh ideas and an effective network of suppliers is more important than ever.

The show’s focus on the small to medium enterprises that support all of the UK’s most important manufacturing industries, from aerospace to medical, make it singularly effective in achieving that objective.

The show will feature live demonstrations and new product launches of machine tools and tooling; electronics; factory and process automation; packaging and materials handling, labelling and marking; test and measurement; rapid prototyping; ICT,  and drives and controls.

Alongside the many top name firms are hundreds of suppliers – many exhibiting for the first time – showing a huge variety of sub-assemblies, mechanical and electronic components, machine vision systems, subcontract metalworking and production hardware.  Support services will include training, finance and regional development agencies.

23 free seminars

Running over two days, the seminar programme will tackle a multitude of industry-related topics. These range from practical topics such as CE Marking and selling overseas, to more technical topics such as product development strategies, Lean and manufacturing best practice.
