Mitsubishi portable HMI series (Handy GOT).

Included in Mitsubishi Electric UK’s GOT1000 HMIS series is a range of portable graphical operator terminals designed to be hand held by the operator. Called the Handy GOT series, the GT1150HS model has a 5.7” greyscale touch-screen: the GT1155HS has a 5.7” 256 colour touch-screen.  The GT16 has a 6.5” touch-screen with 64k colours.  Models feature a key-switch, emergency stop switch and six programmable operation switches with LEDs.

Handy GOTs are equipped with a high speed 64-bit RISC processor that handle the specially developed high-speed graphics and many of the terminals features, including allows the operation & processing speed to be increased for improved redrawing speeds, smoother operation & faster response times.

The Handy GOT is suitable for use across Mitsubishi’s automation platform including PLCs, inverter drives and servo amplifiers and easily programmed via the transparent USB function. all Handy GOTs have a Compact Flash card interface for data storage.

Flexible memory

The GT16 series has 15 MB of user memory for the creation of multiple operation screens, providing more flexibility for developers, improved screen designs, and allowing a wide variety of images and Truetype fonts. Ethernet, RS-422/485, and RS-232 interfaces are supported as standard interfaces.

CC-Link networkable

The handy GOT can be connected with Q series PLC via CC-Link network. This enables the removable handy GOT can be moved from one machine or area of plant and be reconnected elsewhere using the GT11H(S)-CCL device station. It enables PLCs to be remotely operated via CC-Link.

Online operations such as monitoring and data changing of the Q PLC master station CPU, connected to CC-Link, can be carried out from portable terminal.  The Handy GOT operation switch input information can be sent to the Q PLC master station CPU via CC-Link, allowing wiring to be reduced.  A removal switch (release switch) makes it easy to remove the Handy GOT while the power is ON.
