Why OMRON JX inverter drives from 999 Inverters?
The JX series inverter drives from Omron Automation UK is classified as an entry level drive but includes several built-in features. The JX inverter drives are available in both single phase 200 V a.c. and three phase 400 V a.c. versions and with power ratings up to 2.2 KW and 7.5 KW respectively.
The JX has been designed for easy network integration with RS485 Modbus built into the RJ45 port in the inverter front, making it very easy to add inverters into the network without any extra option boards. This saves users money and space. In addition to providing the drives status the network connection can also be used for setting and controlling the JX.
Advanced PID control functionality is also standard with the JX inverter making it a convenient solution for applications such as pumps & fans where pressure, flow and other processes need controlling.
The JX’s integrated EMC filter gives users savings in both cost and space. In the single phase 200 vac version, EN61800-3 cat C1 applies: for the three phase 400 vac version EN61800-3 cat C2 applies.
Reliable emergency shutdown
The IGBT’s output is directly switched off from the external input, assuring no energy is supplied to the motor. This hardware-based solution is more reliable than other CPU dependent solutions.
The parameter settings of two different motors can be stored, allowing the inverter to drive different motors with a unique inverter. The two motors are never working at the same time.
Automatic energy saving
The JX inverter automatically adopts the optimum energy saving setting for applications such as fans and pumps to minimise running costs, and maximise savings. The automatic energy saving function is particularly suited to applications such as fans and pumps, which allow a wider range of motor speed reduction and hence greater power savings.
