Smart Active Parts

One great advantage with the NS is that users can make use of Omron unique Smart Active Parts (SAP) that save you time when configuring, commissioning and maintaining your machine.

The built-in SAP provides users with pre-programmed, pre-tested visualisation objects with embedded communication code  for devices such as temperature controllers and motion controllers, to bring drag-and-drop simplicity to Human Machine Interface.

Built-in FTP web interface

Use the built in FTP Web Interface on Ethernet embedded models to interact with screens remotely. Develop and test your HMI screens and PLC programs without hardware using the integrated simulator. Connect the video module to the back and view live images from a camera on the line.

The NS-8 an 8″ 256 colours (32,768 for image data) with excellent clarity and fast switching screens.  The VGA/TFT LCD touch screen with long backlight life (up to 50,000 hours) LED backlight.  Two USB connections are available for downloading or printing and optional Ethernet and video board interface.
