As its name implies, the new IMO Jaguar VXA (Aqua) range has been specifically designed to meet the expectations of the water industry.  It has been developed in close consultation with water industry experts worldwide to offer a three pronged approach to reducing cost and wastage for in handling water.

1. Reducing energy usage

Whether it is simply a case of reducing speed to suit the demand, automatically stopping a pump during periods of low flow rate or one of the drives specific energy saving functions, energy conservation is always a major consideration in pumping systems.

2. Reduced downtime

The Jaguar VXA (Aqua) is a key element in the daily battle to keep plant operational for longer. With features such as Anti-Jamming, dry pump detection, through to features that reduce start-up stresses on both the pumps and the system as a whole. The drive itself has been designed to provide a service life of over ten years.

3. Reducing wastage and seepage

The linearization function which is designed to reduce excessive terminal pressures during periods of low flow and soft pressurizing features.  This enables the Jaguar VXA (Aqua) to help reduce pipe bursts, water seepage and general stresses on the system.

Jaguar VXA 0.75 to 710 kW 480V power range

Drives from 0.75 kW to 90 kW have integral EMC filter and DC reactor and are available in IP21 or IP55 enclosures for a choice of installation options.  Larger ratings from 110 kW to 710 kW also include integral EMC filter and DC reactors and are available in IP00 construction.  All models include a real-time clock function.  The VXA (Aqua) range has a ten year design life backed by a five year manufacturer’s warranty.
