Compact and Complete

Omron refers to the JX inverter drive as part of its basic line-up, but with the RFI filter built-in; integrated networking communications as standard, and a host more feature the JX provides a compact and complete solution to a whole range of simple applications.

With quality and reliability at the forefront of its design, the JX series of inverter drives are available in both single phase 200 V a.c. and three phase 400 V a.c. versions and with power ratings up to 2.2 KW and 7.5 KW respectively.

The JX’s integrated RFI filter gives users savings in both cost and space. In the single phase 200 vac version, EN61800-3 cat C1 applies: for the three phase 400 vac version EN61800-3 cat C2 applies.

The RS485 Modbus communications are also standard in the JX series, making it very easy to network the drives without the need for extra option cards or accessories, again saving cost and space. In addition to providing the drives status the network connection can also be used for setting and controlling the JX.

Automatic energy saving

The JX inverter automatically adopts the optimum energy saving setting for applications such as fans and pumps to minimise running costs, and maximise savings. The automatic energy saving function is particularly suited to applications such as fans and pumps, which allow a wider range of motor speed reduction and hence greater power savings.  See article on the cube law for more information.

Many useful features

Even advanced functionality such as PID control is standard in the JX series, making it an ideal choice for applications such as pumps and fans where flow, pressure or other processes need controlling.

Within the JX, the parameter sets of two different motors can be stored and simply selected by the user. This allows the drive to be switched between two motors on separate applications.
