Low cost of entry

MX4-Business software is low-cost system solution for tracking and reporting Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Key Performance Indicators, with concise and easy to use real-time and historical reports, for all personnel from the shop floor to the boardroom.

Designed for entry-level systems, it can be implemented with any combination of fully automated and/or manually collected data, providing maximum flexibility and scalability to implement a tailored solution, users need only purchase what they need, and expand they system as required. It can be used as an integral part of a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement programme.

Reporting and trending

By connecting MX4 Business to individual machines or the plant network, the data is collected in real-time direct from the controllers and can be stored to provide historical trending and complete reporting of human resources, downtime, shift performance, product performance, job planning.

The Open Database Interface (ODI) allows import of simple XML data to MX4-Business’s database. This can be used to update the configuration data, or to input process data from MX4 SCADA or third party software systems such as ERP, or any system that can output compatible XML files can be incorporated.

Optional software

The optional MX4-Business server software includes licenses to use the client software on the server, as well as unlimited PC’s on a LAN or WAN network, that has security access to the MX4-Business server database.

Additional functionality is available by adding MX4-Business Solution to provide functionality for product tracking, product genealogy, online work instructions and extended HR tracking. The collection of data from the manufacturing environment is key to Six Sigma projects to identify and solve problem areas causing defects. MX4-Business provides a deployable platform to act as the data centre for Six Sigma projects.
