Magelis XBT small panel HMIs for large and small machines

Schneider Electric offers a wide range of Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) starting from simple text displays with keypads, to compact industrial PC based systems and discrete touch screens up to 19”.

Magelis HMIs are easy to install, set-up and operate, they provide a simple and effective means of connecting systems, collecting data and presenting information in a meaningful format. They provide operators the flexibility to control machine performance within defined parameters to provide effective safeguards.

The wide range enables users to select the best interface for any application, and simplify configuration through its common Vijeo Designer software tools across the range.  Magelis further reduces implementation time and cost by using commercially available cabling, modular architectures and standard networking protocols.

Small panels

With screen sizes starting from 132 x 74mm, the small panel XBT series is available in three models, Magelis XBT N, R, and RT, with back-lit coloured LCD text displays or semi-graphic screens.  Across the XBT series, ten models are available enabling users to select from a range of features such as programmable function keys, text or graphic displays.

XBT small panels are ideal for performing diagnostics, adding control and adjusting system settings on simple or compact applications. They use the same Vijeo programming software as the larger models to reduce implementation time and avoid the need for engineers buy to lean multiple programming tools.

In addition to Schneider Electric PLC compatibility, they are compatible with other PLCs and downloadable protocols include Modbus, Siemens, Rockwell, Omron and Mitsubishi Electric

Multi-language support is included for ASCII, Cyrillic, Chinese, Greek and Japanese, and text can be imported/exported for translation.  In addition there are 128 customisable display characters.  Displays are IP65 (front), and optional touch-screen/keypad or keypad-only combinations are also available.
