Altivar Process Drives ATV600 for the Internet of Things
Altivar Process Drives ATV600 for the Internet of Things (IOT).
Schneider Electric UK claims that its Altivar Process drives (ATV600) are the first variable speed drives with embedded intelligent services. They allow users to optimise process performance and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by simplifying connection to the Internet of Things (IoT).
Altivar Process is a complete range of variable speed drives for process applications from 0.75 to 1.5 MW. Its advanced system and equipment condition monitoring ensures that applications are performing at optimum efficiency at all times to maximise energy efficiency and asset performance.
What’s more, it enables truly predictive maintenance through condition monitoring, remote diagnostics, and troubleshooting that helps you minimise unplanned downtime, improve energy efficiency, and reduce TCO right down to the asset level.
Altivar Process is designed to ensure the process continuity through use of innovative power technology, advanced communications, and functions allowing users to control and monitor their energy usage from the field to the enterprise level.
Its smart power technology, integrated accurate (<5%) power measurement function and standby mode, coupled with digital services help users reduce operations, maintenance and energy costs.
Designed for harsh environments, the ATV600 is compact, modular, and suitable for both new and retrofit installations. Its software architecture makes it easy to integrate into existing system network and ensures the continuity of information flow.
Web-server interface
The embedded Ethernet based web-server interface enables process monitoring with daily working tool. Access to energy use and customised dashboards means energy usage is visible anywhere at any time, either locally or remotely.
The ATV complies with international environmental standards such as RoHS-2 and REACH regulations, and its 70% recyclability rate guarantees low impact on the environment. International approvals include CE, UL, CSA and Gost.
