Schneider Electric announced that there are now over 350,000 users taking advantage of Energy University.  Energy University’s complimentary courses exist entirely online to support anyone involved in the decision-making, management, planning, design, or construction of a space impacted by energy.

Energy University is a free, online, educational resource, offering more than 200 vendor-neutral courses on energy efficiency and data centre topics to help users identify, implement, and monitor efficiency improvements within your organization.

The program has provided energy efficiency education courses to professionals in 165 countries and 12 languages since 2006, and more than 500,000 courses have been taken and the programs feature more than 20 global industry endorsements. Energy University will be adding new courses over this year and building a new category of industry topics starting with an ISO 50001 module in Q3 of 2013. This complements the data centre and energy efficiency curriculum.

Energy University is an endorsed education provider by CIBSE

The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), a global organization based in the UK, received its Royal Charter in 1976. It is the professional body that promotes the career of building services engineers by accrediting courses of study in further and higher education, by approving work based training programmes and providing routes to full professional Registration and Membership, including Chartered Engineer, Incorporated Engineer and Engineering Technician.
