NS Series is the OMRON Advanced HMI Series ranging from HMI-and-PLC-in-one Integrated Controller, conventional touch panel to safety handheld model.  It offers users the power to control a wide range of plant and machinery.  NS Series can be installed and integrated easily into environment.  It features include Omron’s use of proven touch-screen technology and Windows-style user interfaces.

This makes the NS family ideal for many different applications, for example from a simple semi-automatic packaging machine up to a bigger in-line packaging or filling machines with features such as:

HMI & Control [Series NSJ12, NSJ10, NSJ8, NSJ5]

The Omron Sysmac One series is a combination of a NS series HMI (ranging from 5.7-12.1″), a choice of two powerful CJ1 series PLC’s with an optional Ethernet interface and a standard second network interface (e.g. DeviceNet or Profibus). A further option is an extension board at the back of the SYSMAC ONE-series. This offers extra functionality such as a second Ethernet interface or I/O extension.

Scalable HMI [Series NS15, NS12, NS10, NS8, NS5 & NS5H (hand-held)]

The NS-series is a scalable HMI series that covers a large range from 5.7 inch Monochrome STN to 15 inch colour TFT. Easily programmed with a single piece of software it offers advanced features, many communication possibilities including Ethernet, very good synergy with Omron and other leading PLCs and devices.

The NS5H is a ruggedised hand-held version based on the standard 5.7” TFT colour version.  It offers ten Function keys for most used functions.  Protection is IP65 for use in harsh environments where freedom of movement is needed.

Compact HMI [Series NB10, NB7, NB5, NB3, NQ5 & NQ3]

The Compact HMI series consist of the NB family of easy to use and cost-effective HMI terminals available from 3.5 inch up to 10 inch sizes. The NB series HMI offer many useful features and a good quality display which makes it ideal for many different applications, for example from a simple semi-automatic packaging machine up to a bigger in-line packaging or filling machine.

Function-key HMI [Series NT11 & NT2S]

Text based function keys are available in two or four lines. Function key screens are suitable for applications in harsh environments such as gluing or painting stations. They are also recommended for simple use and where numerical data entry is frequent.

HMI software designer [CX-Designer v3.12]

The latest version of the programming tool for the NS HMI series – ready-to-use screen templates enable you to design an HMI screen really fast. Simply drag & drop one of the seven templates from the library and your screen design is finished! The screen template contains a background image, border/frame styles, different buttons and numeral inputs, all in a matching look.
