Quick start guides for Mitsubishi inverter drives
Mitsubishi Electric has published quick start guides for its variable speed inverter drives. Drives can be programmed locally using the removable parameter units or from a PC using their user-friendly setup software. The guides are for the A700 and F700 and for the D700 inverter drives
Parameter Units
Programming can be made manually using the integrated parameter unit on the FR-E and FR-D700 inverters or with the FR-PU07 clip-on parameter units for all other models. Both provide keypads for directly inputting numerical values. A four-line LCD display provides plain text information about performance data, parameter names, status signals and error messages – in a choice of eight languages
Inverter parameter set-up software
The user-friendly set-up software runs on Windows to enable the Mitsubishi inverter drives to be configured using a standard PC. Several inverters can be set up, operated and monitored in parallel in one network. Connection is possible either via RS458 or using the optional SC-FR PC adapter cable. With FR-A700 and FR-E700 also an USB port can be used.
