Omron offers UK MX2 users the chance to win a Kindle Fire Tablets
Closes 31 October 2013
Born to drive machines
Find out how the MX2 series of inverter drives are designed to harmonise advanced motor and machine control. Also enter our competition to win a Kindle Fire tablet.
Safety is embedded in the MX2 according to ISO13849-1, Cat 3, with two safety inputs and an External Device Monitoring [EDM] output. No contactors on the motor side are required, meaning simpler wiring for the user.
The MX2 control function allows the user to create smart solutions using PLC functionality but without the need for an external controller. You can create logic programs within the inverter via an intuitive programming tool using either a flow chart or Structured Text.
Modbus is included as standard in all MX2 inverters and options are available for all common Fieldbus networks including EtherCAT, DeviceNet, Profibus and CompoNet.
Simple positioning tasks can be achieved using the MX2 inverter, without the need for an external controller. Up to 8 positions, plus a home can be selected by the user. Furthermore, the MX2 can be switched between speed and position modes.
